Changemakers can be leaders, advocates, volunteers, nonprofit professionals, donors, activists, fundraisers, or everyday individuals

The event is a fireside chat with Gitanjali Rao, Time Magazine’s 2020 Kid of the Year. Join the Kids In Tech Community at Moxy Boston for an intimate setting where you can hear from Gitanjali Rao and engage in a conversation with her.

Gitanjali Rao is an accomplished young scientist and inventor who gained recognition as Time Magazine’s Kid of the Year in 2020. She has made significant contributions in the field of STEM and is an inspiring role model for young innovators.

The fireside chat will provide a unique opportunity to listen to Gitanjali Rao share her experiences and insights in an intimate setting. Betsy Badell, from NBC10 Boston and Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra Responde, will moderate the conversation, adding depth and perspective to the discussion. It will be a great opportunity to network and connect with other leaders in the STEM industry.

Kids in Tech have been advised that it is no longer necessary to mandate wearing masks during our indoor events. Guests who wish to wear masks to Kids in Tech events are welcome to do so. We also ask that you please stay home if you are not feeling well or are suffering from cold-like symptoms.

To get to Moxy Boston, you have several convenient transportation options:

  1. Bus: If you’re arriving at the South Station Bus Terminal, Moxy Boston is just a short walk of 0.9 km (0.6 mi) away.

  2. Subway: Both Chinatown Station and Tufts New England Medical Center Station on the Orange Line are within a close proximity of Moxy Boston, just 0.2 km (0.1 mi) away. You can easily reach the hotel by taking the Orange Line to either of these stations.

  3. Commuter Rail: If you’re arriving at the South Station Commuter Rail Station, Moxy Boston is also a short walk of 0.9 km (0.6 mi) away.

Business casual is an “in-between” office dress code that’s less formal than business professional.
