Changemakers can be leaders, advocates, volunteers, nonprofit professionals, donors, activists, fundraisers, or everyday individuals

The event is a celebration and recognition of community Changemakers who embody the mission of Kids in Tech. It aims to honor the achievements of individuals who have excited, educated, and empowered children from low-income families in Massachusetts to learn about technology and explore engineering concepts.

The evening will feature inspiring speeches, delicious food, and an awards ceremony. The Coalition for A Better Acre will be honored as the program partner, iRobot as the corporate funder, and the Lenny Zakim Fund as the philanthropic funder. It will also provide an opportunity to network and build a community with corporate leaders, educators, and funders who are working together to cultivate a diverse and prepared pipeline for the next generation of innovators.

Kids in Tech have been advised that it is no longer necessary to mandate wearing masks during our indoor events. Guests who wish to wear masks to Kids in Tech events are welcome to do so. We also ask that you please stay home if you are not feeling well or are suffering from cold-like symptoms.

Garbage B is serviced by multiple bus lines, including the 70 and 86 lines, and a short walk (0.7mi) to the Boston Landing Commuter Rail station.

There are 26 space first-come, first-serve parking lot, as well as ample free parking along Western Avenue. Bike parking is located in the parking lot.
