About Kids in Tech

Kids in Tech is a fast-growing nonprofit providing high-quality STEM education to middle school students in underserved communities. We work with local schools and organizations to deliver hands-on learning through our After-School Tech Clubs and related programs in Boston and Lowell, MA. Our goal is to close the digital divide and empower the next generation of innovators, technologists, and leaders.

Position Summary

The Senior Program Coordinator supports and leads programming across multiple partner sites, mentors program staff, and serves as a key liaison with schools and community organizations. You will play an essential role in maintaining program quality, adapting curriculum to local needs, and strengthening staff development. This role is ideal for a passionate and experienced educator or youth development leader who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. You'll work closely with a dynamic team to support program delivery, lead coaching and onboarding, and help ensure that Kids in Tech's curriculum is implemented effectively and equitably across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

Lead programming across 4+ school sites and provide on-site support
Mentor Program Coordinators and provide real-time coaching - Support new staff onboarding and training
Represent Kids in Tech at school events and community meetings
Assist with curriculum updates and implementation
Collect and analyze attendance and evaluation data
Support logistics, scheduling, and material preparation for programming
Participate in occasional weekend and weeknight events; some weekend work may be required based on program or event needs
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in youth development or STEAM education
Experience leading programs or mentoring staff
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfort using technology and digital learning tools
Spanish or Khmer fluency is a plus
